Sydney Simmons Shotgun Start Texas Scramble 7th July 23

Sydney Simmons Texas Scramble shotgun start took place on the 7th July in wonderful sunshine. This event in memory of Sydney with a BBQ and prizes afterwards is paid for by the Club for Poult Wood members.
The Winners on the day were:
lst place team - Ann Leonard, Steve Medley, Martin Gamble and David Lovett with 54
2nd place team - Marilyn Glover, Andy Cousins, Melvyn Hayes and John Devall with 54
3rd Place team - Patricia Sewell, Doug Church, Jim Worsfold and Brendan Murray with 54
Longest Drives Lady and Man - Jo Winkler and Steve Worsfold
Nearest the Pin Lady and Man - Maureen Chaarles and John Devall
Obviously a very close match with all three winners on 54 so many countbacks there !

Big thank you to Azra for providing a lovely BBQ. Also big thank you to Heather for organising the event and all the teams which was a challenge with people dropping out but fortunately also more wanting to play.
