Thelma Hollands Flag Day

29th August was a very wet day but despite this about 35 of the original 50 players turned up to play. Thelma's sons Gary and Lee played in this event and presented the prizes to the winners. An Honour Board in memory of Thelma will be going up with the other Honour Boards and the first names to go on this Board will be Jo Osborne and Mike Parris who were the winners on the day. 2nd places went to Heather Day and Steve Oakes and 3rd places were Jean Bailey and David Hammond. Unfortunately Mike and Steve had to leave before the presentation but as Mike had put his flag near to the 18th green a photo was taken before he left just in case he turned out to be the winner. Very well done to Jo and Mike.
