Hawtree Trophy 28th May Winning Teams

The Hawtree Trophy took place on 28th May 25.
Hawtree Trophy was presented to the Club by Fred Hawtree who was the course designer. He was educated at Tonbridge School and went on to join the family firm of course builders. The firm has designed and renovated numerous courses but notably Fred worked on a renovation of Royal Birkdale in 1967 and 1974. His son Martin, also well-respected course designer, notably the design of Donald Trump's course in Aberdeen. So Poult Wood has a good pedigree.
The winners of the Hawtree Trophy were Linda Drawbridge and David Lovett with 71 points
2nd - Jo Winkler and Steve Worsfold with 70 points
3rd - Karen Perry and Mike Emery with 70 points
4th - Margaret Barnes and Keith Brown with 68 points
5th - Yasmin Ismail and John Benner with 68 points
6th - Heather Day and Bob Bridle with 68 points
