Charity Texas Scramble 7th January 2019

With the weather set and and the course in really good condition 44 players (which included one ex member Brian Pilbeam) played in this mixed event in aid of our Lady Captain, Jo Osborne's Charity which is the Brain Tumour Charity.
We raised £245 for the charity so a big thank you to all those who took part and to those who donated prizes for the raffle.
The winners were :
1st with 55.9 - Jackie Matthias, Roy Brewster, Dave Clarke and Ron Sullivan
2nd with 57.1 - Patricia Sewell, Sarah Stuart, John Lovett and Hedley Pickering
3rd with 58.1 - Marion West, Peter Hole and Richard Thomson
(Closely followed by Ann Lee, Nick Gowlett and John Albiston with 58.5 and Maureen Charles, Laurie Day, Billy Jermey and Doug Hardwick with 58.6)
