Ladies Charity Day 11th October

The Lady Captain Jo Winkler held her Charity Day on the 11th October assisted by Lucy Langridge her Vice Captain. Don started off the shotgun start with the hooter going off at 8.30am. It was brilliant day of fun and followed by a very tasty jacket potato and salad from Azra.
There were plenty of mulligans, putting gimmees and various other aids to help us all on our way including Nick Terry hitting our drives for us on the 14th.
The results were:
1st - Patrick Miller, Eileen Thomas, Hedley Pickering and Richard Thomson with a score of 105
2nd -Melanie Thompson, Steve Kidd, David Lovett and Ron Weeks with a score of 104
3rd - Steve Worsfold, Martin Larkin, Ali Hale and Judy Roberts with a score of 104
4th - Maureen Charles,Peter Hole, Nicholas Moon and Ann Leonard with a score of 103
5th - Jim Worsfold, Simon Cluskey,Luciana Allen and Sue Jelley with a score of 103

Longest Drive Ladies - Ali Hale
Longest Drive Men - Simon Cluskey
Jo's Charity is Crossroad and Richard from Crossroads came along to present the prizes and also told us all about the wonderful work they do.
We collected just under £1,000 for the Charity which is amazing. A big thank you to eveyone for helping to raise this amount.

I should also mention that Gill Miller, Jo Winkler, Lucy Langridge and Nikki James played in the Faversham Open and came in second missing first place by one shot. Well done to them. Photo in the Members Area under Faversham Open.
