Ladies Charity Day 23rd September 2015

The Ladies Charity this year is OVACOME, the ovarian cancer support charity.
We had a full house of 40 people playing and there was lots of fun, a lovey sunny day and wonderful Poult Wood Club members taking part. Balloons for Mulligans (only 2 allowed) Drive taken for us by David Copsey on the 6th (fantastic to watch) Thank you so much David for giving us your time. A drive taken for us by Nick Terry on the 14th and being a par 3 gave us all the chance of getting a birdie (again fantastic to watch) thank you Nick for also giving up your time to help our Charity.
The results were:
1st Man - Jeff Nicholls - 43 points
1st Lady - Jackie Matthias - 44 points
2nd Man - John Lovett - 39 points
2nd Lady - Marion West - 42 points
3rd Man - Jon King - 36 points
3rd Lady - Jean Bailey - 36 points

Longest Drive on the 11th Men - Jon King
Longest Drive on the 11th Ladies - Marion West
A big thank you to Heather Day for checking the cards
A big thank you to Chris Day for sorting out the raffle which raised £191.50
A big thank you to Enid Jones for supplying the NIbbles.
At the end of the day we raised £400.35 for OVACOME so thank you to everyone who took part.
Also thank you to Don for keeping us all in check and making sure the golfing went smoothly.
