Lady Captain's Drive-in 13th March 24

Despite the course being closed due to so much rain, we were given permission to use the 18th green and the 1st tee to hold our Drive in. Lucy was suitabley dressed up by an outfit made by Sue Jelley (well done Sue).
Jo Winkler putted out on the 18th green, first of all with a surprise ball which Sue had put down without her realising !! Then Jo putted a proper ball and had her last putt out as Captain.
The ladies paid a £1 to guess the length of Lucy's drive so that we could start collecting some money for Lucy's charity Hi Kent, a charity for the deaf and for people living with hearing loss across the county.
Lucy then took up her position to hit her drive. Lots of fun on the tee as Sue had put an exploding ball down for Lucy to hit without Lucy knowing. Lucy then hit her proper drive and this was 143 yards. Well done Lucy.
We all then when upstairs and enjoyed a coffee and chat as we couldnt play golf.
