Lady Captains Mixed Charity Texas Scramble 24th Jan 24

Lady Captain, Jo Winkler held her Charity Texas Scramble on 24th January. It was carry only so unfortunately not everyone was able to play. The event had to be cancelled earlier in January due to bad weather.
Fantastic turn out of all those able to play and a really fun day in the sunshine albeit muddy under foot. The winning teams photos are in the members area here on Clubbuzz (click on Members Area and then scroll down to the event) To view the photos properly click on each photo.
The winners were
1st 3 ball team - Tim Harrington, Paul Winchester and Paul Howells with 53 points
1st 4 ball team - John Albiston, Tony Hermitage, Patricia Sewell and Patrick Ferguson with 53 points
Winning 2 ball team - Clive Wakeman and Roland Middleton
2nd 3 ball team - Mo Brook, Martin Camble and Jeff Nicholls with 51 points
2nd 4 ball team - Jo Winkler, Laurence Whiskin, Brendan Murray and Simon Cluskey with 52 points
When I have the final tally of how much we raised for the charity (Crossroads) I will update this page. Thank you so much to all those who played and gave generously to the gimmies and the raffle. At the moment we he around £600 for the charity which is an amazing amount.
Thank you to Azra for the lovely sandwiches and chips and for giving two lovely prizes to the raffle.
