What a great occasion to play amongst so many members and also two of Thelma's family in Thelmas Holland's Flag Day, a game that Thelma enjoyed so much.
60 played and so it was quite a long day but well worth it. Heather, Tim, Nikki and Marion went out last and collected all the flags.
There were 10 prizes to be won and the winners were:
!st Lady - Jo Winkler and 1st Man Paul Winchester who both came in with one shot to spare.
2nd Lady - Clare Waite who was just past the 18th hole and 2nd Man - Steve Worsfold who was in the 18th hole
3rd Lady - Luciana Allen who was on the 18th fairway and 3rd Man - Will Smith who was 4 inches from the 18th hole
4th Lady - Ann Johnston who was on the 18th Fairway and 4th Man - Nick Workman who was on the 18th green
5th Lady - Heather Day who was on the 18th fairway and 5th Man - Pat Miller who was just short of the green
Thanks go the Sue and Robin Jelley who made all the flags and bought all the prizes before they went on holiday. Also to Heather who took over the reins and organised all the handicaps and to Jo for collecting all the money. Not forgetting those who helped to collect the flags at the end !!
